Are you one of those people who doesn’t care about the type of gas they put in their car as long as it gets them from point A to point B? Do you put unleaded gas in your car, even though the manufacturer suggested you put premium? Well, if this is you you should definitely pay attention to what I am about to say because you are going to waste a lot of money if you do not follow what I am about to say.

In general, we all want to save on gas and do not want to overpay for something that we ourselves do not use at all. However, you should always make sure you are putting high quality gas in your car even if it is a little more expensive, do not always go for the cheap route. Believe me if you do, it may come to bite you later. The worse the quality of gas you put in your car the worse mileage you will get per gallon, and lets not even mention the type of damage to your engine bad gasoline could cause.

What I typically do sometimes is to fill up my car with unleaded – note, my car only needs unleaded and not premium, but I fill up mine with unleaded and maybe once per a future fill up, fill it with premium. With that said, here is a list that TopTierGas came up with that will best serve your car.

As a person who usually fills up at a BP or Shell gas stations, I do tend to agree with the some of the gas stations listed above, I disagree with some of them as well. For example, in my opinion Costco, QT, Quick Trip, and Texaco will not make my list of desired retailers simply because I think the gas sold at those gas station is not up to the same quality that the Shell or BP or Chevron gas stations offer. In addition, I have not even heard of some of the others like Tri-Par or Standard because they are likely not available in the state that I live in.

So going back to the original point, you should put high quality gas in your car, even if all you fill up is unleaded make sure it is a high quality unleaded gas. Go to one of the gas stations above and fill up, your car will thank you in the long term by not breaking down and providing you a good mileage on the gallon.

Have any gas stations you think should be on the list? Feel free to leave a comment below to let us know. Maybe we can come up with our own list of gas station.
